Hatchlings: kindergarten curriculum
http://hatchlings.blogspot.com/2009/04/kindergarten-curriculum.html
Monday, April 6, 2009. We're homeschooling Henri for Kindergarten, and we went to the MACHE (Minnesota Association of Christian Home Educators). Conference this weekend. It was excellent! Thanks to everyone who recommended that we go. So helpful to go to all the workshops for those of us planning to homeschool for the first time. So helpful to go through the curriculum fair and actually page through the curriculum that I've read and heard about. So helpful to know that 6107 people were at the conference.

Wednesday, September 10, 2014. How to Homeschool When You Can't Get Off the Couch: Recommended Resources. Cross posted from Be Not Weary. This is a great, free online reading program. Very well done and I have only come across one or two mildly objectionable things. You can upgrade to even more features (including math games) for an inexpensive yearly subscription fee. This is one we have not done yet, but I have my eye on it. We love Song School Latin and other products from Classical Academic Press...

Monday, June 9, 2014. Homeschool with Pinterest (for the Organized and Unorganized Alike). Amy at Raising Arrows. I know Pinterest isn’t for everyone. I know some people can’t help but get lost there and never use anything they pin. I know for some people, it could spell a colossal waste of time. But, for me,. It has helped my homeschooling efforts tremendously. It is like a great big network of homeschoolers sharing resources so I can be a better homeschooler! Click here to read the rest. Friday, December 27, 2013. It's been a long time since I've even thought about blogging. Days come and go. I live them. We learn and we grow and then the next day comes and we do it all again. I'm not sure where blogging fits in anymore, though I wish I took the time to do it. Today I want to remember. That I am loved and by some pretty amazing people too! Our baby girl is joyful and compassionate. She feels and loves deeply. She is also artistic and smart and funny. But what I admire in her ...May the w...

Lots to do- lots to do. Whether you homeschool or not, here's some sites I've visited this week in my search for better organization that you may enjoy. Homeschooling - A Life: Homeschooling Change
http://marcijohnson.blogspot.com/2010/11/homeschooling-change.html
Homeschooling - A Life. Monday, November 29, 2010. What she seems to like most about school is being around the other kids, and being able to participate in things like the radio show and after school art. She wants to be involved in everything! In any case, I continue to supplement Lucy and Matthew's education at home, and I still think of myself as a homeschooler, even though I'm only able to do it part-time right now. At home Lucy and I are continuing to study history with the Story of the World.
