I can't believe our wedding day - blessedly breezy and sunny after a near disastrous Nor'Easter threatened to wash out our outdoor reception - was ten years ago. And what has happened since we said our "I do's" at St. Mary's by the Sea? A warm, happy home. Countless fun times with family and friends. Happy Tenth Anniversary, Brooke!

They were pretty busy, and the service wasn't stellar. Sunday, August 1, 2010. There are certain things that I have to eat when I'm in Maine: blueberries (if they are in season), lobster and popovers from Jordan Pond. Luckily the blueberries were out early this year since it has been so hot. So we picked blueberries on our walk. Lemonade and Popovers at Jordan Pond with butter and strawberry jam one afternoon. Lily wanted lobster for her birthday! Only had 5 lobsters left, and we got them all. Mine was 2 lbs! Brooke's was 2 1/2 lbs! Delicious, delicious Blogs.

Monday, February 8, 2010. I am very happy the Saints won last night! My nachos, however, weren't that great. I wasn't feeling all that well, and I didn't want to miss any of the game. Sunday, May 16, 2010. Puck Buddies @ Dexters. A bunch of us from my ice hockey team are playing in a spring league. We have named ourselves Puck Buddies, and are having a great time playing. We won our second game last Monday, we are now 2-2. And it was our goalie, Kat's, last game with us before she heads to Alaska for the summer. So we decided to celebrate and went to Dexter's. Friday, April 23, 2010. Apparently I don't eat as many nachos as I had thought. So I am branching out to other foods. Mainly things I make. It's my blog, I do what I want! Last night I made kebabs on the grill. I had a hankering :) I have found that the meat cooks slower than the veggies, so I make them on separate skewers so that I can control how they cook. I might have made a little too much for just me, but I do love leftovers! I love this time of year because grilled foods taste so much better!

Friday, June 25, 2010. So, I guess I suck at this blogging thing. I haven't been very consistent in my postings. And my friends who said they would love to help blog, aren't (hint, hint). I have been cooking a lot recently, so I'll start posting more food that I make. I really haven't been going out to eat much recently, and when I do, not to places that offer nachos.
