3 Days, 60 Miles! Wednesday, October 5, 2011. I've been neglectful. This blog was not on my list of things to do upon returning home from the DC 3 Day last week. What was on my list of things to do? Breast Cancer Awareness Fact: Every 69 seconds, someone in the world dies from breast cancer. I have had a couple friends contact me to see if they can still donate to this great cause. 3 Days, 60 Miles! Thursday, April 7, 2011. Athens, OH Half Marathon 2011. We ran the 21st Annual Athens Half Marathon and survived! I couldn't be any happier with the outcome. But before I get to that, let me give some details. We arrived in Athens Saturday afternoon around 2pm. Since my sister and her family live there, we were able to plan a great visit with them. We had about an hour to kill before we could check into the hotel, so visit and play we did! Did I just hear someone say "pot of gold"?

3 Days, 60 Miles! Wednesday, March 30, 2011. 10 Miler and a Bug. Well, let me say it now. I really do not like running. But I do like running with E. We ran comfortably at the same pace. We were both plugged into our own music selections. And we were able to compare our distance running gadgets to get a better idea of how far we had gone (my Nike doesnt seem to be very accurate).
