Well, the “blizzard” only turned out to have “blizzard-like” conditions in my area. By Tuesday night, I think we only had 8 inches of snow. That was it. With Brain Cancer (and other ramblings as I seem fit). First 3 cycles of Irinotecan. After my last MRI, it was recommended that I change my chemo from Lomustine (an oral chemo) to Irinotecan (an IV chemo). The nice thing is that I can do the Irinotecan on the same days as Avastin. The not so nice part? So, this is really screwing up my diet every other week for 5 days. But after that’s all over, I feel fantastic. At Jenn’s Bridal Shower. November 22, 2011. I was able to receive chemo yesterday in the hospital which was great! But, having spent 3 weeks in the hospital just to go home for 1 week and be back in the hospital again makes me want to take things very slow.
