Things Are Different Here. Reflections on life in transition. Saturday, August 23, 2014. How I Met a (Novice) Spy. This one doesn't quite have his cover story down yet, and probably is too excited not to talk at all about his first job. I can only hope that he doesn't cause too much damage to the rest of us in his part of the CIA machinations. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). How I Met a (Novice) Spy. What Else Can Happen To Turkey? Things Are Different Here: March 2015
http://natalyreed.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Things Are Different Here. Reflections on life in transition. Monday, March 30, 2015. The fog rolling in. A little more spring! The view at my desk in the office. If I were staying longer, I might need a bigger cork board. Sunday, March 22, 2015. Another 14,000 steps! Today has been one of the best spring days yet! My friend Blake and I got out and about to enjoy it (while poor Alex stayed home to rest because of a cold.). And, yes, I brought some baklava home for Alex, too! Saturday, March 21, 2015.

Jessica, a Broad. Your front-row ticket to Istanbul adventure! Apartment Hunting in Istanbul. Tags: Crazy Turkish system. I’m now looking for my third place to live in the span of about 14 months. And trying not to have a heart attack while doing so. So, I’m looking. Again. Istanbul is a very crowded city – depending on who you ask, there are between 15 and 20 million residents. And probably at least 80% live in apartments. So, real estate is at a premium, and gets snatched up fast. Anyway, as it was a n...

Mom forwarded this inspiring email to me today and I wanted to share it even if you may have read it already. more of a good thing is definitely good :) a beautiful speech and I savoured reading every word. This was a speech made by Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Anna Quindlen at the graduation ceremony of an American university where she was awarded an Honorary PhD. It is so easy to waste our lives, our days, our hours, and our minutes. It is so easy to take for granted the color o...
