Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Halloween at Tokyo Disneyland Part II (Super Image Heavy). Here is part 2! As the sun sets in Tokyo Disneyland. The ghosts of mischief come out to play. So crowded in the stores. Haunted Mansion is a must-visit on Halloween! Oh and I should mention that I watched this alone. K left before the night parade as she had a presentation due the next day and I was left alone to enjoy the rest of my Halloween in Tokyo Disneyland. So I went on the carousel. Which wasn't at all bad.

Saturday, October 29, 2011. Blogging about Summer again! So me and my Shanghai friend Q dressed up in our yukatas and headed to the Katsushika Fireworks Festival! Whom I love very much! With our Korean boyfriend K. He is one of the sweetest and kindest guys I know. Miss him loads! Purikura before heading for fireworks. It's not everyday that you get to walk around in a yukata! Crazy, crazy crowd. Took us a while before we could get out of the station. It was hot and stuffy and we were getting impatient.

Friday, December 31, 2010. Getting ready for the New Year! Today is 大晦日 ( Oomisoka. Last day of the year), which is the second most important day in Japan (according to wikipedia, heh heh). The most important day in the Japanese festive calendar is of course お正月 ( Oshougatsu. New Year's Day). I spent most of today cleaning and decorating my apartment while watching TV. Haha. Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Trip to Nikko, Tochigi. I went on a bus trip organised by my university to Nikko, Tochigi recently. Nikko (日光) is a city in Tochigi (栃木) prefecture and is famous for its beautiful landscapes and shrines. The bus ride was 3 hours from Tokyo and my back and butt was hurting like mad from the cramped seat. The first stop was to world-famous Nikko Toushou-gu (日光東照宮), which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Everything was so scenic and serene. Finally at the entrance of the shrine.
