Saturday, January 11, 2014. After months of talking and planning we were finally at the cruise terminal and ready to depart! We have enjoyed our other Disney experiences and had high hopes that the cruise would also have the same Disney feel. it did not disappoint. Sunday, December 9, 2012. Christmas Program on Wintry Day. This morning was the kids Church Christmas program. Amelia enjoyed picking out her dress this year. She is getting to be so big. Walking in carrying bells. The kids sang 2 songs and had several pre-recorded sessions they had done earlier. Samuel was a sheep and a camel, Amelia was an angel. Sunday, August 10, 2014. We just returned from our annual Vesta cabin trip Heartwood resort in Wisconsin. This year we enjoyed. Wiffle ball in the yard. Slushies at the snack shack. Swimming, canoeing, and tubes at the lake. 2 river trips. one with kids in our canoe's and 1 adult only one in Kayeks. Trip to Hayward to famous dave's and go-carts. Monday, January 5, 2015. The Christmas season is over and tonight the tree will be taken down. I love Christmas! Every year I look forward in anticipation the traditions, family get together's, and memories of the season. This year I thought I was prepared. shopping was started earlier, I had plenty of free days to do my decorating, baking, and planning. Then sickness hit. Monday, August 19, 2013. August means it's time for our annual Vesta family cabin trip to Heartwood Resort in Wisconsin. We enjoy a week of swimming, canoeing, kayaking, river trips, and lots of sports! The weather was a bit cooler and partially cloudy, but we tried to make the most of it. Thursday, September 12, 2013. Samuel was excited to start preschool. He will be attending southwood 3 days a week. He was excited that on his 1st day he was in charge of snacks! Amelia celebrated her 7th birthday on Sat. Sept 7th with a friend party at the house. Games in the backyard. it was a 90 degree day! Showering off the craft they made. A fun time was had by all! Saturday, June 8, 2013. Treats&Feats.Kindergarten Wrap Up. Amelia's school does not do an official graduation, instead they invite the parents in to see the kids room and projects they have done. I was set to work that day, but was able to get off. My mom was down watching the kids while David was in Europe so she came along too. We had been notified that Samuel had won for "being responsible" and then after names were announced, Amelia also was a winner! Wednesday, March 13, 2013. It was a great trip to Florida with my whole family again this year! It felt like we had been waiting forever to go, since this time we booked back in November. Finally the day arrived and all 10 of us were on our way. Thanks to a 6:25am flight we arrived at our resort, Caribbean Beach with almost a full day to enjoy it. However, the weather was a bit cool for Florida (50's and windy) so we enjoyed walking around and playing at the parks. Animal Kingdom- Actually this was Day3.
