I was shown to the communal visiting room and waited as other children came, but not Elizabeth. After a few minutes, the visitor supervisor asked me to come with her. I was born in Ostend, a fishing port at the North Sea, in the Flandres, in Belgium, on October 29, 1925. A man of 92 years of age now. I like to write about the very many incidents and happenings to my family and myself and others during that war. Small parts of history of what civilians had to endure. So I started this here website. I will publish, plan and edit as I go. Im no expert at running a website but I will make an effort to write as best as I can.
