Her, As An Open Book. Resume Work-In-Progress, Life WIP. The Literary Prophet →. April 7, 2013. Should I be poking at grad schools, wondering if I have the qualifications to spend even more of my life in whirlwind classrooms? Can I prove myself worthy of a Masters degree? I’ve already gone further than any other in my family has before – neither of my parents have degrees and have only done smatterings of college – but could I go any further? What would it do for me, to try and go further? It is somethin...

https://kaitlyncrawford.wordpress.com/2013/04/21/illustrations-in-persepolis
Reading the graphic novel Persepolis. Was a totally new experience for me. I had never read a graphic novel before and honestly didn’t think I would enjoy it very much. I always thought that the pictures would distract me from more than enhance the story. While reading Persepolis. I came to find out that my assumptions about graphic novels were wrong. I really enjoyed reading the graphic novel and I found out just how much the pictures can add to the story. April 21, 2013 at 11:52 pm. Next post →.

Here I come, with no intention to write papers about you! Actually, I unde...

In class, we spent a long time discussing the value of literary studies and how literary studies are viewed by the general public. Literary studies are misunderstood and therefore those who pursue literary studies frequently find themselves having to justify their worth. Truth and Reliability | Mind Candy

In my last post, I discussed the novel My Name is Red,. And how it dealt with different ideas of perspective as well as how perspective influences art and life. One of the questions that using different perspectives brings up is are these narrators reliable? Is it even possible to have a reliable narrator? How important is it to know the truth? One of our classmates referenced how Holden, the narrator of The Catcher in the Rye. 4 thoughts on “ Truth and Reliability. March 10, 2013 at 4:35 pm. The concept...
