Rambling of an Ophelia: Brush Soap
http://ramblingophelia.blogspot.com/2014/02/brush-soap.html
February 13, 2014. The Limited Edition van Gogh color palette is going gang busters at the shop! Thank you to everyone for the support with that- stopping in to see them, to high five me for picking them, pre-ordering quarts or just oogling the pieces Ive painted with them. "ReVived Vintage" and "Wheat King" are my very favorite, with "Carter" and "Zepplin" coming up a clear dead even! In my last post I was a bum and teased and hinted at some more exciting news coming down the pipe! Yea - why not! I reme...

Shauna Diliberto started collecting vintage clothes while on an adventurous and inspirational cross-country trip with her friend three years ago. It was then that she discovered what she was destined to do: sell vintage clothing! FF: I was introduced to your pop-up business, maeflowers vintage. SD: It was 6 months ago. I moved back from Syracuse from NYC in October 2013 to start maeflowers and hosted the first pop-up in December.

KERA Softwear: Visual identity
http://kerasoftwear.blogspot.com/2015/02/visual-identit.html
Tuesday, 3 February 2015. As I'm eager to het back in my pre-pregnancy shape, I have taken up exercising again. This means that I'm now more happy with my outer self and have more energy to make and do things. This, again, translates into being a better person in general. :). I have also worked on the overall visual identity of my brand and ordered new business cards as well as textile tags to attach to my finished items. Moo. I ordered my textile tags from a German company Namensbaender. Kahe ja poole k...

The Renaissance Geek: Seven lessons I learned from the failure of my first startup
http://therenaissancegeek.blogspot.com/2014/08/seven-lessons-i-learned-from-failure-of.html
A blog by Michal Bohanes. Saturday, 16 August 2014. Seven lessons I learned from the failure of my first startup. Background: Dinnr was an ad-hoc, same day ingredient delivery service. Select a recipe on our website, and we deliver everything you need to cook that recipe at home, all the items pre-measured with printed instructions. All you need at home is oil, salt and pepper and a reasonably equipped kitchen.). I wasn't particularly tired. Even after months of fruitless trying, I was as keen to mak...

Daemon Fire Blog: Christmas and New Year 2014
http://daemonfiregames.blogspot.com/2014/12/christmas-2014.html
Christmas and New Year 2014. Need to prove I'm still alive. I am terrible to keep this blog updated. In truth I haven't had the time over the past few months due to College. The course is only a Foundation Degree in Business, Managemant, and Communication. I've learned a great deal, along with many things I never even considered. First Semester is drawing to a close, with only two essays and an exam to be done, then its onto Second Semester. Idea I've had floating around. Daryl Cross @ Nahi Gazal. Second...

Christine Marie Davis: The Etsy Exodus and why it's not really happening
http://christinemariedavis.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-etsy-exodus-and-why-its-not-really.html
Finder.Collector.Maker.Breaker.Smasher.Basher. Wednesday, March 11, 2015. The Etsy Exodus and why it's not really happening. Formula for a successful listing: cute dog funny hat bright colors = $. Artists and crafters jumped like flies onto ETSY in the mid 2000s with its handmade DIY. 25 mfg ring from India. Now it’s gone mainstream, and left the artists who helped make. What it is in the dumpster. I’ve been saying I’m leaving ETSY for about a year now. But we’re still there. Why? It's not easy and.

Crabapple Landing: 2015 Budget
http://lifebeginsatretirement.blogspot.com/p/2015-budget.html
Unless I decide to go travel the world :). Some things will change a little: I don't know if my property taxes will increase or not as city council is still working on their budget. Car insurance is going DOWN! Though Kazi complains about how cold it is in here - go put on a sweater! I feel just fine thanks to my internal furnace lol! I am hopeful of a large refund this year :) And in a year and a half I'll start receiving Canada Pension which will bump up my income nicely! All in all I'm satisfied with ...
