Tuesday, September 30, 2008. It's butter, baby! This morning, my friends, my scale read 351.8. THAT is a little over five pounds gone, whoop whoop! Monday, January 26, 2009. Alot has changed since I last updated. Apparently, I haven’t blogged about the weight management plan I started last week through my doctor’s office. I went Wednesday, and Steven went Thursday. It’s called “Lose It 4 Good”, and it has 4 elements - eating, activity, sleep and sunshine - yes, sunshine. Monday, January 19, 2009. We also found out today that my mom's best friend's mom died, so sad. I sent her a card from me and my hubby. We made a wild concoction for dinner tonight. I won't even tell you what we put it in - I STILL can't believe we didn't end up having to call out for pizza. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Had a FABULOUS time last night (to quote my friend Rachel) with our NAMI Regional Coordinator and her husband. She is a treasure, and he is just so much fun and so funny! They took us to a local Thai food restaurant, and I actually liked it. I didn’t get anything spicy, and I had to put soy sauce on my chicken and shrimp fried rice, but it was good. I know fried rice wasn’t the best choice, but at least it was brown, LOL! I probably had 1-1/2 to 2 cups total of the mixture.

Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Drum roll, please. 48 POUNDS, WHOOPEE! But, my body fat percentage went up. What’s up with THAT? This eating plan she gave me today is going to be really difficult, I’m afraid. It limits me to 12 oz. of meat per week (LEAN meat). The good thing is four servings of starch a day. That sounds like alot, but I swear, I probably eat like 12 servings of starch a day right now. I can do this, though! I lost almost five pounds in the first week alone! In Our Own Voice (blog).

Tuesday, January 27, 2009. New update, new layout :). I was thinking the other day, I was drinking about three 32 oz. sweet teas every day. Even at only 160 calories each, that’s almost 500 calories in nothing but tea! That’s, like, a Big Mac or a bag of cookies or something. Geez. I have SO much filing to do, it’s insane.
