Thursday, June 18, 2009. 3 Ladies with 14 children in Santa Cruz. My good friends, Jill, Jeanni. And I, decided to take our troops camping in the Santa Cruz mountains. We looked like quite a site pulling up with all our kids, 14 in all. The camp host was especially impressed that Jeanni. Backed in a 30 foot trailer. Monday, June 8, 2009. Summer Fun at Don Pedro. Our family's first summer vacation. The first week after school got out, our family headed off to Don Pedro Lake for some summer fun. We camped and boated. Highlights included our good friends, the Lima family, joined us for a day, the beehives came up for tubing fun, watching Landon jump off the platform and swim in the lake, Ashlyn. Thursday, April 9, 2009. Our Front Yard Is Complete! After many hours of pulling roots, digging trenches for the sprinklers, moving dirt, planting new plants, pouring cement, laying sod and extending our fence, our (my) front yard renovation is complete. It truly was a labor of love. I am so excited to have a new front yard. Below is a picture of our yard, half way through stump grinding out the roots and trees. Landon is 18 months old- and growing! Landon took a pretty hard fall off of the scooter. He was a champ. After he got a band-aid, he hopped right back on. I'm sure he'll have plenty more bumps and bruises as he continues on through life. Birthday on our vacation. Taylor Ann made that adorable "happy birthday" sign while we were on our trip. She's as creative as her mother!

This was the first year that all of our kids (with the exception of Jared) were able to ski/snowboard independently! Monday, January 26, 2009. When we were in Hawaii John and I did an outdoor adventure with rock walls, zip lines, 100' repelling and this crazy swing. They hoisted us up 60' in the air, then we would let go for an incredible swing ride. The post below is of John swinging. He had already started his descent when I started video taping.
