Culture Shock →. June 14, 2012. It was due time for a trip out of the norm. This time, Trevor and I traveled to Capitol Reef National Park. We did a hike to two of the overlooks there, climbed through a slot canyon and experienced the strongest wind we’ve ever felt. The wind also picked up at night and I woke up multiple times thinking the tree was going to fall over on our tent. A good record I think. (Let’s just say we LOVE hiking). We love the outdoors, and it’s a blast discovering new things together. I graduated from college with a double major in journalism and anthropology. Wahoo!
