Saturday, October 12, 2013. Fallingwater by Frank Lloyd Wright. On the way to Fallingwater, and also very close by, is Ohiopyle State Park. Most known for rafting and kayaking, there are also a couple of waterfalls. We visited one called Cucumber Falls. Low water but quite photogenic. Cucumber Falls in Ohiopyle State Park. Saturday, July 14, 2012. Working with the Macro lens. This year I'm using a Tamron AF 90mm f/2.8 Di SP AF/MF 1:1 Macro Lens. And I am quite impressed with it. It's better than any other macro I've owned and it's been a joy to work with. I have used it on a wide variety of subjects in varied situations and have yet to be disappointed. It's very easy to work with this lens. There are also discussions about the relationship between effective aperture and diffraction blur. Harrison - photographyreview.com.

Thursday, May 22, 2014. Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park. My first visit to Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park. Was an amazing experience. I had heard of the place. Even seen a photo or two, but never visited. Thanks to Fred Haaser of Ohio Valley Camera Club, I am now experienced. We spent the evening photographing the area then had a wine and cheese reception at the museum on the property.
