ramblinboy: What do you think of the George Zimmerman verdict?
http://muddleoftheroad.blogspot.com/2013/07/what-do-you-think-of-george-zimmerman.html
Sunday, July 14, 2013. What do you think of the George Zimmerman verdict? In fact he had been warned against it by the police operator.but not illegal. In the end, Treyvon Martin lay dying, shot at close range in the chest. Zimmerman maintained he felt his life threatened and no one was left alive to dispute him. The jury heard the case and made it's verdict. The correct verdict. In Florida and many other States, at present, it's perfectly legal to commit murder. Is this an incident of racism? Strike up ...

Friday, April 20, 2012. Highest Tradition of the Service. People seem to think that the Secret Service in this country has some kind of grand tradition. It was founded by a guy named Pinkerton. He was very proactive and used the same modus operandi for the entirety of his career. This man not only founded the Secret Service but built large private security and strike breaking forces for the major corporate entities and establishments of institutional wealth in America. Wednesday, June 15, 2011. I have two vacuum cleaners in my house. One for upstairs and one down. They're old, from second hand stores. They were real cheap and worked great when I got them, many years ago. One is a Eureka, probably 70s vintage, the other is a Filter Queen, undoubtedly older than I am. Both are canister types. I went to my neighborhood appliance repair store, they do vacuum cleaners, sewing machines and shit like that and got a couple of new belts. Cost me $4 each. They're probabl...Do yo...

Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Black Dirt, Ignorant Pig Fuckers. How do you feel about Barack Obama releasing his birth certificate today? Let me tell you how I feel. It was a big mistake. Only a small group of people ever believed Obama was not born in this country, none of whom voted for him in the first place and none of whom would ever vote for him again. Links to this post. Saturday, April 23, 2011. Could he be "The One". That's a good thing for the Republicans and maybe for Paul. He's going to be g...

Friday, September 02, 2011. Cat O' Nine, Tale O'Five. My friends raised three boys. One's still in high school. The other two are still at home though. College didn't work out and there's no jobs. Never were, really. The real jobs were always 30, 40, 50 miles away. "Were" is the key word here. I guess they'll be starting over. At 60. They're still workin' though. Praise the Lord! San Bernardino is a pretty good place to get murdered if thats what youre looking for. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

ramblinboy: Presidential Election
http://muddleoftheroad.blogspot.com/2012/09/presidential-election.html
Tuesday, September 25, 2012. I've never really thought that Obama has been more than mildly challenged for achievement of a second term. Romney is an exceptionally weak candidate that the Republican base has never warmed up to and his rightward efforts to try and win them over have alienated large numbers of independents. In coming years, population shifts, generational change and increasingly sophisticated and empowered political organization on the part of racial and cultural minority factions are goin...

http://muddleoftheroad.blogspot.com/2011/09/stand-by-me.html
Wednesday, September 07, 2011. The Democratic Party is bigger than the Republican Party. It always has been. That is truer now than ever before. This is the key to presidential politics in America. When Hubert Humphrey was beaten by Nixon, when Carter and Mondale were beaten by Reagan, When Gore and Kerry were beaten by Bush, they were not beaten by Republican voters. They were beaten by Democratic voters who crossed over and voted for the Republican candidate. They could get themselves a side show lobst...

Tuesday, September 13, 2011. I missed the Republican Presidential candidate debate last night because I had to attend a social event with my wife. I read a couple of newspaper rehashes of it this morning though. We'll just have to see who emerges. Somebody will. Until then, the guys they have are just enthusiasticly inept volunteers, keeping the lights on, the open sign on the front door and stamping parking validations out for curious browsers, without any hope of ringing up a sale. Where are you hiding/.
