The picturesque village of Nayland is located off the A134 between Sudbury and Colchester, being 10 miles from Sudbury and 6 miles from Colchester. The village is blessed with having two great venues for holding our events. This provides an intimate venue which we use for our meetings and the calendar competition. It is located on the B1087, locally known as Bear Street. The postcode is CO6 4HY. The map of Nayland, right, shows the location of these venues.

The Community Council holds its meetings bi-monthly at the Church Hall in Bear Street at 8pm, with the executive committee meeting at 7.30pm. Dates for forthcoming meetings are:. Monday 6th March - AGM. Monday 8th January 2018. The agenda and minutes are circulated widely and respesentatives from any village organisations and individuals interested in community activities are very welcome to attend.
