是戲，是夢，是真，是假？ 蒸了三道的couscous，熟成了執念，是情。情真意切。 後設的劇本，辯證著戲子伶人的命啊運啊，剖析解讀著湯老爺的創作意含。 臨川四夢，給編進了一場私人的夢境。劇作家，依著那四夢，暗揣著湯老爺的意，勾出了一個湯家班。 四夢，私夢，難解分。 我一度錯讀了整個戲的時空，我以為會是當下的台北。當我意識到400年的時差， 卻欣喜於這樣的誤會。因為， 戲末鞦韆上的義仍，那困了. 400年的老靈魂，也可能作了一個夢，夢裡他和當時的顯祖啊海若又一起唱著那聲那調。畢竟，那只電鍋太搶眼。 於是，三名女伶飆起了戲來，在黃粱飯熟之前，盡興一場宴會，呢喃著女伶私話。 然後，傳統與現代，戲與夢，今與昔，戲子與角色與演戲子的演員，湯顯祖與周慧玲，變換著交揉著對談著。 開戲前的投影的玉茗堂私夢，幻化成了螻蟻，在白色的的布上爬動。我想起了張愛玲說的：生命是件華麗的衣裳，爬滿了蝨子。 關於這場夢，劇作家在劇本的序裡說了很多。關於那些命題與形式結構的剖析，關於湯顯祖，關於愛情。 也不過就成就了一句絕唱： 原來奼紫嫣紅開遍，似這般都付與斷井頹垣。 難得的悠閒時光 難得的好戲 難得的第一手的秋高氣爽 難得的明月彎彎.
