Nepal Earthquake, Kathmandu 2015. Friday, 3 July 2015. Kathmandu after the Quake, June 2015. On the road to Kathmandu some 7 weeks after the great quake. The prithivi highway, the only way as it happens between Pokhara and Kathmandu is picturesque and there is little evidence that there was an earthquake here except for the occasional pile of rubble. Thamel is largely intact with water supplies, sewerage and electricity all working normally - even the wifi has a good speed on at the moment!
