Bhutan holds many surprises and mysteries. This is a country where the rice is red and the chillies aren't just a seasoning but the main ingredient. It is also a deeply Buddhist land where monasteries are part of the mainstream and amazing view of Himalayan landscape where snowcapped peaks rise above the primeval forests.Taking prime positions are the majestic fortress-like dzongs and monasteries which sets the scenes for spectacular tsechu festivals. And so our adventure begins! Oct 2 to Oct 8th 2014.

http://laoswego.blogspot.com/2013/09/october-5th-2013.html
Luang Prabang in Laos is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. It is a wonderful patchwork of traditional Laos wooden houses and hints of European influence, reminders of when Laos was under the French colony of Indochine. Golden roofed temples (wats) decorated with mosaics compliments with the 19th Century wooden shutters. Its unique remarkably well preserved townscape illustrates the blending of these two distinct cultural traditions. View of night market n Wat Mai from Phousi Hill. The dwarfs coming to town?

There are few images more iconic to southwestern China than that of the giant panda. Unfortunately, despite its status as a Chinese national treasure, the giant panda population has been whittled down to just 1,000 pandas due to mass human development over the last century. As a response to this ecological crisis the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding was opened in 1987 and began caring for six pandas rescued from the wild. Monday, December 24, 2012. It is home to more than 14 million people.
