Tuesday, November 30, 2010. She cried for an hour last night, and then fell asleep. Woke up a few times to nurse and slept 12 hours. Tuesday, May 31, 2011. From a few weeks ago. so behind on my blogging, but at least I got them planted before I went on vacation! I bought pots and even planted my tomatoes (given to me by a neighbor) the same day. Notice that mound around the pepper plant? Dirt around her face. Lorelei loving the rainbow-ness of the new pots. They were a bit more expensive than the plain ones, but solid plastic (not hollow walls) and hopefully will last quite a few years. Plus, they make me smile. Links to this post.

Thursday, July 7, 2011. No, nothing bad has happened. I realize now that the title of the post sounds like it did. But I have been overly stressed, grabbing at straws and trying to figure out how to make things happen, which I saw this quote on someone's Facebook feed. Nesting Corral Cherry Pie Bars. Yesterday was incredibly sunny. It was so nice to see the sun again after a few months of darkness. The sun got me thinking about summer, which got me thinking about summer fare, which in turn made me want a fruit pie! I neither had the time or ambition to actually make a fruit pie, so I did the next best thing. I made these cherry pie bars. Saturday, July 11, 2009. What'cha Cooking: Hot Dog! Corn Dog That Is! Today for lunch I decided to try out the recipe. For Corn Dogs from Hillbilly Housewife. They came out wonderful! Sorry ya'll that is not my picture of my corn dogs.they did not stick around long enough for me to snap a pic. I had a lot of batter left over.but not to fear! They were crispy on the outside but soft in the inside! It was a hot dog of a lunch! 2 teaspoons baking powder. 1 1/3 cups corn meal. 1 to 1- 1/2 pounds of hotdogs.

Saturday, February 1, 2014. Half assed lotion - try # 1. Crumble up/knife shave some beeswax into the bottom of a 2 cup measuring cup. Drizzle in some calendula infused olive oil to get to around 4 oz. Put in a spoonful of shea butter. Stick the whole thing into a pot of water like a double boiler. Heat until mostly melted.
