http://paintingshed.blogspot.com/2015/07/rall-coming-along.html
Like what you see? Napoleonic "squares" Rules (updated 17th Feb 2012). Thursday, 16 July 2015. A couple of not very good photos of progress on the Rall regiment of grenadiers. On to the last batch of figures now to complete the 30 2 standard bearers. Lurking at the back are the standards for the 64th foot. From now on I'm mounting standards for most large hessian and British units on their own small stands. Love those Perry sculpts! 16 July 2015 at 21:26. All coming along very nicely. 6mm naps; waterloo.

http://paintingshed.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Like what you see? Napoleonic "squares" Rules (updated 17th Feb 2012). Sunday, 21 September 2014. The latest rule book from Osprey Publishing dropped through the letterbox this weekend. Lion Rampant is a set of medieval large skirmish rules written by my chum Dan Mersey. Dan's previous rules for Osprey were Dux Bellorum which remains one of my favourites. And there are also those 3rd Crusade figures I started and never finished. Here are the two M8 HMCs I have painted up to support my US late-war infantry.

Steve's Paintingshed: 64th Foot colour party
http://paintingshed.blogspot.com/2015/07/64th-foot-colour-party.html
Like what you see? Napoleonic "squares" Rules (updated 17th Feb 2012). Thursday, 23 July 2015. 64th Foot colour party. Finally finished, the standard bearers for the 64th. Figures are Perry plastics and this time I cheated and bought flags from GMB. The finnials and tassels are part of the plastic set but be warned that the flagpoles are only just long enough to get tha flags and finnials fitted, and the it is tricky to paint the flying cords without making a mess of the flags. 23 July 2015 at 21:53.

Phil's War Cabinet: Archive - League of Augsburg/ Grand Alliance/ GNW
http://philswarcabinet.blogspot.com/p/archive-league-of-augsburg-grand.html
Archive - League of Augsburg/ Grand Alliance/ GNW. Between 1990 and 2000, the main thrust of my wargaming focus was the period of the late 17th century/ early 18th century - namely The League of Augsburg, Grand Alliance, and Great Northern War. A number of these units had distinguished tabletop careers, notably Oxford's Horse who were the scourge of French, Irish, Scots Jacobites, and anyone else they could plough into the ground! Of this whole period, I have kept very few photos, and most of the units h...

Phil's War Cabinet: Paint Your Wagons
http://philswarcabinet.blogspot.com/2015/07/paint-your-wagons.html
Sunday, 19 July 2015. Each Brigade in my 18th Century collection will have a token supply wagon. and I decided that, with the Brigades starting to take shape, it was high time to paint these pieces, otherwise it's the sort of job that would get left till the end, grow into a monster, and may never get done! So, first up, French wagons for the first two Brigades (Picardie and Champagne brigades. named after the senior regiment in each brigade):. Next, the wagon for the Pils Holstein guard brigade. 20 July...
