The ride will start at theNobbys Beach Car Park Wharf Rd Newcastle East and travel west along Wharf Road. Turn right at lights into Hannell Street Wickham and continue along Industrial Drive. CAUTION give way to traffic on roundabouts on Hannell St. Turn right at lights onto Maitland Road/ Pacific Highway. CAUTION at intersection of Industrial Drive and Pacific Highway as this is a busy intersection. Stop at Marshalling area before Hexham Bridge as directed by temporary stop light.

The finish will be at Jubilee Park, Brown St Dungog. All riders must arrive at Dungog before 1.30pm. Riders who have not finished by this time will either be picked up by the sag wagon or will no longer be considered as part of the event. You can buy food and coffee at several cafes, hotels and fast food outlets in the main street of Dungog. Dungog Rotary Club will also be selling barbeque snacks and drinks at Jubilee Park Dungog where the ride finishes. Please pre arrange any accommodation and camping.

It is the riders own responsibility to be self sufficient on this ride. However, there will be a sweep car and a sag wagon. All riders are to come to the aid of any rider who has been injured or is in difficulty. Dial 000 if there is a serious accident. It is recommended that the following equipment be taken on this ride. Mobile phone with fully charged battery. Minimum of two spare inner tubes. Pump and tyre levers. Minimum of two 750ml Water bottles. Food such as a bananas, lollies, power bars, gels etc.

The start is at the Nobbys Car Park at 6.30 but riders will first need to register. Registration will open at 6.00am at Nobbys Car Park. Our approval conditions require that we must have groups of no more than 50 cyclists escorted by vehicle to the Hexham bridge. Riders are asked to self seed into the groups as detailed below. After the Heham bridge riders can ride single file at their own pace. Elite - Pace: 35kmph, Start 6.30am. Club - Pace: 30kmph, Start 6.35am. Tourers - Pace: 25kmph, Start 6.40am.
