Tales of life, love and literature. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Walks and Picnics and Beautiful Things. Chocolatey Goodness and other Easter Joys →. April 10, 2009. Tonight a terrible thing happened to me. So terrible it has been these past few hours, that I barely spoke to my family and couldn’t bring myself to sleep. Yes, I rediscovered the Sims. What does it say about the world when one of the most popular PC games is one in which we control the lives of virtual persons and families? Address ne...

An Elephant Named Jo: Pride & Prejudice
http://elephantine-jo.blogspot.com/2009/01/pride-prejudice.html
Friday, January 16, 2009. Okay, so I have been officially obsessed with this over the last few days. Almost as obsessed as I was over Twilight (a phase which I do not regret, yet am still slightly ashamed of), which, I have to admit, was pretty bad at one point. I am not ashamed of this obsession, considering the amount of people who are likewise enthralled by Jane Austen's most well-known book. Maybe I'll watch it again today. Maisie #1 and #2. An Elephant Named Jo: Wishing It Was Winter
http://elephantine-jo.blogspot.com/2009/01/wishing-it-was-winter.html
Sunday, January 4, 2009. Wishing It Was Winter. Winter. For some reason I flourish in the cold. Maybe it's my Anglo-Saxon roots, or maybe I am influenced by the awesome clothes you get to wear. Whatever it is, I wish that it was still winter here in (sadly) sunny Australia. Check out the rest of the pictures from this shoot at. The New York Times website. And you can drool over the clothes, the weather, or the setting, whatever takes your fancy. January 4, 2009 at 11:56 AM. I know what you mean,. That is...

An Elephant Named Jo: Back to School
http://elephantine-jo.blogspot.com/2009/01/back-to-school.html
Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Okay, this is it, we're all going back to school. Normally, I would scorn anyone who said that they wanted to go back, but this year, I really do. Holidays are fun, but when you are as crap at keeping in touch as I am, you get sick of them quickly, especially if they go for six weeks. PS For the last week or so, I have been at my Nan and Pop's house 3-4hrs drive away. And they don't have a computer. Sorry for the break in posts. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
