Seit 4 Wochen bin ich nun schon in Monterrey und habe mich sehr gut eingelebt. Das Studieren ist sehr zeitintensiv. Man bekommt jeden Tag Hausaufgaben und muss wöchentliche Kurztests schreiben. Das gesamte Leben spielt sich hier auf dem Campus ab. Man kommt morgens um 8 und geht abends um 8. Vorlesungen, Lernen, Sport usw. Posted by Niclas at 1:10 PM.

Nic esta en monterrey. Sunday, October 16, 2005. Expotec ist das alljährlich stattfindende Unifest. Es gibt Info- und Eßstände aus allen Ecken des Landes. Auch bekannte mexikanische Live-Bands treten auf. Nach 40 Grad letzte Woche, hat es zur Expotec leider 3 Tage am Stück geschüttet. Und wenn es hier regnet, dann steht halt gleich mal das Wasser 10cm hoch auf den Straßen. Trotz total durchnässten Klamotten war es dennoch ein Spass! Posted by Niclas at 7:31 AM. Nic esta en monterrey. Wednesday, November 02, 2005. Nicht unbedingt mein Lieblingsfest, aber hier in Mexiko wird es mit einem riesen Aufwand gefeiert. Wir waren natürlich auf der besten, absoluten Fresa-Party. Der Urenkel der wohlhabendsten Familie Monterreys, Garza Sada, ließ es sich nicht nehmen eine all-you-can-drink Halloweenparty auf 4 verschiedenen Floors in einer extra dafür gemieteten Villa zu veranstalten. Nach einem erschöpfenenden, studenlangen Aufstíeg unter widrigsten Bedingungen haben Thommy und ich den Berg bezwungen. Vom Fuße bis zum Gipfel! Nicht einmal Reinhold Messner war es bisher gelungen diesen Berg zu meistern. Auf dem Rückweg haben wir noch eine Höhle erkundet.
