This is pork chops with polenta. Sprouts on the side. I actually just wanted to give the recipe for the brussel. Sprouts. They were the best I've ever had! I have NEVER liked brussel. Sprouts and was quite surprised when I scarfed these down. 20 big fresh brussel. Sprouts, cut in half. 4 garlic cloves, smashed with a knife. 1 can beef broth.

There is so much to tell, but that is a whole other blog in itself. In May I officially became a Homemade Gourmet consultant and am loving it! So, of course I will be posting my creations. :). Cheesy Pork Chops (and I forgot to take a picture! 2 lbs Pork Chops. 1 Can cream of mushroom soup. 1/2 Cup chicken broth.

Since Patrick has been out of town I have been eating all kinds of food with tomato sauce. :) I made this dish last night and it was so delish! It's very easy, took about 20 minutes and I even had left overs for lunch. Enjoy! 1 box bow tie pasta, cooked. 1 pkg turkey kielbasa sausage, chopped. 1 jar marinara sauce. Black olives, sliced.

A Plaice for Everything. Monday, January 7, 2008. Whilst cleaning the freezer last night, I couldn’t believe how many fishy stuff I had in there, so this week the children will be stuffed to the ‘gills’ (hehe) with a few fish dishes. In no particular order, here’s the menu for this week. Myself and Chef will be having more grown up food! Cod fillets with sweetcorn and boiled potatoes. Vegetable fingers with peas and fresh mashed potatoes. Chicken and sweetcorn lattice with basmati rice and green beans.

Saturday, September 20, 2008. 3 Weeks Post Op. Well I am excited to say that I am still going strong! I have now lost a total 24 pounds since surgery! I can not wait for each and every new morning to wake up and start my days. I will be updating my blog so be sure to check back often. When I get brave enough I will start posting my monthly pictures and measurements! I look forward to watching you shrink. Pictures now. :D. I'll be jealous, too. No insurance to pay for me :(. A Plaice for Everything. Monday, January 28, 2008. Lamb Cutlets on a Spiced Vegetable Broth. 12 lean lamb cutlets. 125g soaked soup mix (red split lentils, green split lentils, pearl barley and marrowfat peas). 2 cloves crushed garlic. Freshly ground black pepper. Preheat oven to 180o. Cook the cutlets for 15 minutes. Dice the vegetables small. Fry onion till soft and add the spices. Add the vegetables and sweat for 5 minutes. Add soup mix and stock, bring to the boil. Simmer for 20 minutes.

A Plaice for Everything. Friday, January 25, 2008. 1 cup parmesan cheese. 1lb lean minced beef. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 tins chopped tomatoes. Small tin tomato paste. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix ingredients together, slowly adding the water. Mould the mixture into meatballs. Brown the balls on each side and simmer in the sauce for 20 minutes. Add to pasta (I used fresh penne). A Plaice for Everything. Saturday, March 8, 2008. Meatball Soup with Lovage. I saw this on The Peoples Cookbook. Earlier this week and decided I just had to give it a try. Although I had to wait three days for a packet of lovage. From my favourite veg shop, I still attempted it. Level of difficulty: Easy. Preparation Time: 20 minutes. Cooking Time: 1 hour 20 minutes. 1 tbsp Olive oil. 1 onion, finely chopped. 450g lean minced beef. 2 tbsp ground rice. 2 tbsp Olive oil. 1 onion, finely chopped.
