Home of SF Edwards and the Spiral War Saga. Spiral War Technical Database. Welcome to the official website of Noble Storm Books and author S.F. Edwards. Monday, August 3, 2015. Book review, Of Ice And Magic by Hugh B Long. Once again Hugh B. Long. Long's writing style lends it self well to a visual realm, and I could see it adapted to a short film or fantasy anthology series without much difficulty. The story could likewise be fleshed out into a much longer novel, and I applaud Long for keeping this ...

One Writer’s Journey. September 21, 2009. Secrets of the Tarot. No story featuring Gypsies would be complete without fortune-tellers. Kathryn Jankowski: February 2010

One Writer’s Journey. February 17, 2010. Grammar v. Creativity - False Foes? As a former teacher, I have strong feelings about how writing is taught. I’ve seen the pendulum swing from “free” writing (creativity trumps all) back to strict formalized instruction and I can tell you, extremes don’t work.
