Saturday, December 6, 2008. A few nights ago the girls had their dance recital. Here are a few pics:. They were being silly at home before we left, doing the "robot". Sara's dance.the song was "Cruella Deville". Sara is down on her knees right in the middle. Rachel's dance was to "Too Cool for You" from Camp Rock I think.or maybe High School Musical? Shows you how much I know! Rachel is on the far left. This is at the end of the recital with the flowers their teacher gave them. Posted by Kristen S.

Sunday, November 23, 2008. The story of the couches. Well, not a whole lot has been going on the last month! Just the normal work, school for the kids, homework, etc. But we were supposed to get new couches, the key word being supposed. So back in September we decided the time had (finally) come for new couches. Our other ones were still in good shape, but we'd had them for 10 years, and it was time for a change. Wow, that was fast! Thursday, April 24, 2008. On Tuesday Rachel ran in her first track meet. All the third graders from different elementary schools in the city went over to the high school and spent the day participating in different races. Saturday, November 1, 2008. We are definitely going again next year! There were some funny dances and some spooky ones, and it started and ended with a zombie number to Michael Jackson's Thriller. The only thing scary about the night was that as you came into the theater, there were girls dressed up in full costume/body paint to look like zombies from a horror movie.and very realistically done I might add! I got a pic of one of them, but then my camera batteries died so I didn't get any more. :(.
