NINA'S NOOK: LYME DISEASE
http://ninas-nook.blogspot.com/2009/08/lyme-disease.html
Saturday, August 1, 2009. Fast forward to this past Wednesday, when Gideon came into the office after his shower to show me his other leg, which had a big 5 inch circular rash ring! And another one on his right ankle. Neither of them were at the site of the tick bite, but I made a dr appt right away and took him in. Gideon will be fine; he is on antibiotics for 30 days and that's that. Luckily we caught it early! For those who don't know, here is a list of some of them:. To visit the CDC's info page.

NINA'S NOOK: A Great Trip To Yosemite
http://ninas-nook.blogspot.com/2010/08/great-trip-to-yosemite.html
Thursday, August 12, 2010. A Great Trip To Yosemite. This past June, I took a great trip to Yosemite National Park with my sister. It's a place we often went on family vacations when we were growing up, and I always loved my time there. The park was very busy, so we had to stay abt an hour away, but the drive in and out was beautiful! All in all, though, it was just wonderful and I'm so glad I got to go 'back in time' for a couple of days! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Great Trip To Yosemite.

NINA'S NOOK: A LOVELY MORNING AT THE SACRED GROVE
http://ninas-nook.blogspot.com/2009/08/lovely-morning-at-sacred-grove.html
Sunday, August 30, 2009. A LOVELY MORNING AT THE SACRED GROVE. Last Sunday we had the opportunity to spend time at the Sacred Grove in Palmyra New York. Sometimes when we've been there, the place has been very busy with many visitors walking the paths through the grove of trees. But this past visit was quite different. We saw one car in the parking lot, but in the grove we were all alone. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A LOVELY MORNING AT THE SACRED GROVE. SMILING FACES ON THE TRAIL. My son and I ha...

NINA'S NOOK: SMILING FACES ON THE TRAIL

Sunday, August 16, 2009. SMILING FACES ON THE TRAIL. Richard and I went walking on the York Heritage Rail Trail. Saturday morning. Well, Richard went running and I went walking, and we met back at the car to come home. That's how it usually is; I don't run, and he won't walk! But we both get our exercise in. NINA'S NOOK: February 2, 2010
http://ninas-nook.blogspot.com/2010/02/february-2-2010.html
Tuesday, February 2, 2010. February 2, 2010. Wow, can it be six months since I last wrote in my blog here? We've had so many fun things in our family since then. A new grandbaby born last September to Jared and Margaret, the return of David from his mission in Thailand and the publishing of his book Mrs. McFig and The Very Big Wig. A great Christmas vacation at home with six of our seven kids, and so much more. I had long looked forward to the time when that would happen. Now, it is a treasured memory.

Tuesday, August 4, 2009. Even though I'm not there myself this week, Gideon has kept me well informed about what they are doing, including:. Swimming in Grandma's Pool. Having lunch at A and W Rootbeer, which he thinks would do well in our town in PA. Going to the Morro Bay State Park museum. Playing on the beach. Having a night swim with family. Playing Clue, an old summer favorite. Going to Madonna Inn for Black Forest Cake. My favorite summer memories of growing up in SLO include:. Homewise Shopper - ...
