K.R.E.A.M. - Arthur Azoulai's Portfolio
http://www.arthurazoulai.com/K-R-E-A-M
The ‘Kicks. Rule. Everything. Around. Me.’ was created for the Kicksburgh 2009 Show that was held at Carnegie Mellon University. The show was part of a class taught at the school called Sneakerology: 101. The sculpture was inspired by the U-N-I remix of the C.R.E.am song by Wu-Tang Clan. The process behind the sculpture started by 3D scanning 5 pairs of sneakers out of my collection. The sculptures were then milled with a CNC Milling Machine. Elements of a sneaker.

http://www.arthurazoulai.com/Spatial-Perception-in-Architecture
Spatial Perception Through Movement In Architecture. As Tschumi says in his conversation with Enrique Walker, movement is an unbelievably powerful device. It is indeed a great device to start defining spaces. The study of different types of movement in Architecture also contributes to the definition of space. Through Architecture, can the user be subjected to follow an architecturally predetermined movement? Through a series of Architectural moves, this will demonstrate this thesis project.

Digital Fabrication: 3 Piece. Collaboration with Dane Zeiler. Professor: Ferda Kolatan, University of Pennsylvania. The initial intention for this project was to achieve pluripotency through a treatment of both surface and volumetric articulation. In terms of volume, the goal was to design an object that would stand but not have legs. For surface treatment, we observed the Art Nouveau furniture pieces and architectural details by Victor Horta. These intricately crafted designs manage to blend surface...

I still use film...
I still use film. Images taken with film based cameras, as well as my experiences, minor experiments, and what I've bought recently. A few months back, I bought a new digital camera. I had wanted something compact, but with the level of control I have been accustomed to in the last ten years or so of using SLRs. After briefly toying with the idea of just buying a compact digital camera and giving up on the idea of manual photography, I ended up settling for a Nikon Coolpix. Ignore the fact that nothing i...

See, that’s what the app is perfect for. Wahhhh, I don’t wanna. Letting you go is the hardest way I did. Apr 20th, 2017. I’m okay… but deep inside, I’M BROKEN. Apr 20th, 2017. You came at the right person, but in a wrong time. Apr 20th, 2017. I am more ‘stronger’ than before. Apr 20th, 2017.
