Monday, November 25, 2013. First Ever 30 Mile Week! And Georgia Coast Rail-Trail (Woodbine) Review. I've been a bad, bad blogger lately. I haven't been keeping up with my regular blogs, or writing my own. I think it is the time of year. It's not that I'm actually busier than normal. but my brain is. What time should I serve Thanksgiving dinner? What should I serve? Can I get away with ham again this year? Maybe I should ask someone else to make the turkey. Only shopping days till Christmas? I wonder if e...

To my 5 (previously) loyal followers I must express my deepest apologies for not keeping you up to date on all the exciting developments in my incredibly exciting life! Here's a picture of my hand post surgery. It's gross! In Jacksonville. What an amazing hotel! We chose the appetiz...

Wednesday, January 8, 2014. I Ran In Sub 50s Temps! You will probably laugh when I tell you how victorious I felt running in 49 degrees today! A very windy 49 degrees - so probably more like 39 with the wind chill. You're still laughing, aren't you? This is what I looked like:. Earmuffs, gloves and a jacket! You people in Michigan would probably consider this shorts and a tank weather! Anyway, I wanted to quickly tell you about my favorite new winter running product:. The Saucony Transcendence Jacket.

I set a goal of running it in 2 hrs 11 minutes (10 minute miles) and trained HARD to work up to that pace. And I was sooo there! About 5 weeks before my race I even ran a 13.1 mile training run. Pace on a long run! And I w...

Flaming June on the Run: Seize the Day!
http://flamingjuneruns.blogspot.com/2014/01/seize-day.html
Wednesday, January 22, 2014. Only 4 more days until the Town of Celebration Half Marathon! I can hardly wait! This morning, I spent a couple of hours viewing the course on Google maps. Does anyone else do that before a race? I just like to be completely prepared for a race. On my first half-marathon, the course was so vaguely drawn that I couldn't get a view of the roads beforehand, and that was frustrating for a person who needed her husband to be accessible along the route. I love everything about it e...

Saturday, April 6, 2013. Parenting with a Purpose Series. A few weeks ago I was asked to be a part of this Blog Link-up: 5 days of Intentional Living. I was so excited Nikki and Leigh Ann asked to me join them, and after praying about participating in the link-up, I accepted. I then asked God, "What should I write about? Almost immediately He said Parenting with a Purpose. I'm gonna tell you right now I was reluctant to write the girls and let them know of my topic of choice. Day Two: A Change Refreshes.
