EAK! A House!: Ikea Billy Closet Hack
http://eakahouse.blogspot.com/2013/03/ikea-billy-closet-hack.html
Oliver's Weekly Photo Project. Sunday, March 3, 2013. Ikea Billy Closet Hack. My closet has been a work in progress for almost two years. When we first moved in we started out with this very silly classic old house closet problem:. The two feet of space wasn't cutting it (and the closet kept going behind the wall so I was forever losing clothes) so when we moved the wall to expand the kitchen we also opened up the closet. Eventually everything got trimmed out and painted,. I don't own many long dresses s...

EAK! A House!: October 2014
http://eakahouse.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Oliver's Weekly Photo Project. Monday, October 20, 2014. This weekend we lost our beloved dog Norman. The grief in the house is palpable. I know some may be confused as to why we would mourn a pet so much but he was far more than just a pet. He was our little man. Everything reminds me of him from the pillows he loved to smash down until they were just right, to the yard we made sure to find just for him when we bought this house. Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Front Yard- Before and After. As you can see it ...

EAK! A House!: VITTSJÖ Hack
http://eakahouse.blogspot.com/2012/11/vittsjo-hack.html
Oliver's Weekly Photo Project. Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Daniel and I have what I think of as an unorthodox way of decorating. We tend to sit on ideas for a long time only to radically change plans and then go on a shopping spree. It sounds crazy but it actually works for us. This is the story of my ever evolving living room. This hack was quite literally that. We started out with this shelving unit. X3) and took some measurements. Here's the view from a bit further back. I don't know how I want th...

EAK! A House!: Month 7
http://eakahouse.blogspot.com/2014/12/month-7.html
Oliver's Weekly Photo Project. Tuesday, December 2, 2014. Month 7 was an up and down month for us. Lots of mood swings. One second Ollie is happy and laughing and the next he is sobbing. Who knows. He is certainly moving all over the place, and these weekly pictures are getting harder and harder to take. But, all in all, he has become the best kid. Our lives are starting to feel like they are finally coming back to normal. Date nights have resumed and we are actually attempting to try new things. Im well...
