President Muske: July 2006
http://presidentmuske.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 30, 2006. When a good friend with whom you haven't spoken in months calls out of the clear blue with a sense of urgency in her voice, your mind begins to race. "Who died, is pregnant, or got fired" were all thoughts that ran through my tired, post 11pm mind. "Do you want to go to New Orleans this weekend and gut houses as part of Katrina relief? Was not what I was prepared to hear. But I said yes, because after all, this was a good friend. Our mission in New Orleans was simply to gut people'...

Saturday, September 30, 2006. Our Day of Debauchery. Thought I would have as much fun in Oklahoma as I did today! My parents came to visit, primarily for a wine tasting event in town. That turned out to be a bust, so we headed to Choctaw Nation in Durant, Oklahoma for a fun afternoon of slots! We all came out ahead, so that totally made up for hanging out all day with trailer trash. And yes, we plan to go back. Enjoy the pictures! Posted by Richard Muske at 3:02 PM. Thursday, September 28, 2006. 6 am was...

Saturday, August 26, 2006. Peeves of the President. I hate when fat guys have gotees. as if it hides their extra chin. Posted by Richard Muske at 4:33 PM. Friday, August 25, 2006. How Bummed am I? Should I be sad that Pluto is no longer a planet? When I picked up the paper this morning, it was almost like reading the obituaries and finding that a friend had passed away. Posted by Richard Muske at 7:36 AM. Tuesday, August 22, 2006. I have recently been informed by PETA. We have a way to put a stop to this...

Wednesday, June 28, 2006. Peeves of the President. When guys think they can "dress up" by wearing Khaki Cargo Pants. News Flash: Khaki Cargos do not equal Khaki Slacks. Posted by Richard Muske at 9:03 PM. Sunday, June 25, 2006. Apparently I brought an unexpected visitor with me to Atlanta this weekend. Mother Nature's evil stepsister who we'll call Ms. Texas Weather! The rest of my adventure was quite enjoyable. Friday night, we met family members (and Georgian residents) Pat, Linda, and Ashley Pearc...

President Muske: November 2006
http://presidentmuske.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 28, 2006. In the past, my Thanksgiving (and Christmas for that matter) holiday would go something like this: Work until about 8 o'clock on Thanksgiving eve, wake up the next morning and drive to my parents, drive back home that night, be at work by 6 am for Black Friday. Not this year! It was even greater to spend time with friends. In attendance were Jeff, Shelley, Brandon, Sara, Vanessa, Amber, Sommer, Jeremy, Brian, Mary, and myself. Oh, the fun. Yeah, me too. Let me make it wors...

Tuesday, October 24, 2006. So I now will search quickly and thoroughly for that "perfect job." That's right, I quit my job without another one lined up. Quite scary. I have been wanting to begin a career in event planning, so it looks like now is my chance! Posted by Richard Muske at 2:13 PM. Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Our very good friends, Bob and Jennifer, are expecting a baby in March! We went up to Baltimore on Saturday, January 26 to celebrate with them at their baby shower! Jennifer is currently unable to travel, so their friends and family brought the shower to them! There were tons of presents for them to open! We had a great time visiting with them and we enjoyed every minute! Elijah had a good time too and was very well behaved! As Chris says, "It's discipline! While we were in O...

Thursday, February 28, 2008. Check out this toothless grin! I had to take some toothless grin shots of Elijah. (No that tooth that I see still has not made it's way up! He's such a ham! The Cleveland Browns outfit was given to him by Aunt Beth and soon-to-be Uncle Sean when Elijah was baptized. (It's Chris' favorite, so I had to take a picture of it! Sunday, February 24, 2008. Is that a tooth I see! HmmmI really can't tell, but when I examine Elijah's gums very closely (not easy by the way! Chris had dut...

Tuesday, June 24, 2008. So much as happened since we got back to Vermont! We've tried to get some stuff packed up so the movers don't have to move anything that could be given away or even thrown away. We've been somewhat successful! The movers were scheduled to come on Monday, June 23. On Wednesday, June 18, we were told our move date wasn't confirmed and may have to reschedule! I did good on the tests by the way, but don't know about the job yet! We had such a great time in Vermont! We headed up there ...

Thursday, January 1, 2009. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! This Christmas was very different for us. We decided to have it be just the three of us at home. What a change from the past few years! Unfortunately, Elijah got really sick on Christmas Eve, so we had to rearrange some plans, but he was up and back to his normal self on Christmas, so we got up, opened presents and later that day went over to the Ryan family's house for a yummy Christmas dinner with all of our friends. It was great! Since we ...
