Last Sunday 17th August, our close friend Stephen Ward braved horrendous weather conditions at Groomsport, Co.Down, N.Ireland, to complete a half-Ironman triathlon. A half Ironman consists of a 1900m sea swim (that's equivalent to 76 lengths of your local 25m pool, only in open water! Ready to take the plunge, as the clouds gather behind. So we've decided to make a separate post just for that purpose! Abi with Becky, collecting the Afripads. And with Hugh, collecting the water filters. Bagging up the Afripads. Helping load the car.
