Getting back into swimming now in a big way. I’m feeling fitter and able now that my bunion surgery has been a success and my foot is feeling more comfortable. Also it’s a test for my knee as well (had an arthroscopy in April 2010). It’s doing well, but a little sore when I do the breast stroke. Must be the different movement that’s making it feel odd. https://bunionchat.wordpress.com/2011/02/04/discharged
This will probably be my last post on the subject of bunions! I went the hospital yesterday for my final follow up appointment after my bunion surgery in September 2010. As all has been going very well, the doctor has discharged me. My walking has continued to improve: I’m just over 4 months now since my surgery. Sadly my toe nail was damaged during the surgery, and the doctor told me it might drop off! I feel a bit sicky thinking about that, but I guess it’s not the end of the world! Feb 22, 2011. IR...

Sunday, 4 August 2013. Dr W and I have entered into the weaning process a little naively. As we are both very fond of our food, the presumption was that Mini Bean would be too now that, as her official Food Facilitators, we are allowing her access to food. In hindsight, if the only flavours you have known are sweet breastmilk, sweet strawberry Calpol and sweet orangey Infacol (other wind easing remedies are available.) then broccoli may be a bit of a shock. Not Another Cat Blog – Read on for a good time
Not Another Cat Blog. Read on for a good time. May 2, 2016. In Antoine de Saint-Exupery’s novel “The Little Prince,” the word used by the fox to describe becoming attached to another person is “tame.” In French, the verb is “apprivoiser”–the meaning being to become connected as though two people’s souls are connected. Coulesse (v.)–to become deeply connected with someone usually in the context of friendship; profound loyalty to someone because of a soulful connection to them. Here’s an example:. Animated...
