Not-Quite-Chef-Yet, A Cooking Blog: December 2014

http://www.notquitechefyet.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html

Not-Quite-Chef-Yet, A Cooking Blog. Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Tonight we're heading over to our good friends house for NYE. I just told Derrick that at midnight we can say, "This is the year our baby will be born! 3 cups corn chex. 3 cups wheat chex. 2 cups pretzel sticks. 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce. 1 teaspoon lowry's seasoned salt. 3 dashes chili powder. Tuesday, December 23, 2014. 1 cup chocolate chips (I used a combination of semisweet and milk chocolate). 1 cup corn syrup. Beat the cream...

Not-Quite-Chef-Yet, A Cooking Blog: Vegetable Soup

http://www.notquitechefyet.blogspot.com/2015/03/vegetable-soup.html

Not-Quite-Chef-Yet, A Cooking Blog. Saturday, March 14, 2015. Derrick found this recipe on Facebook. He knows I've been trying to eat lots of veggies for the baby. I wasn't originally thrilled about making it because it didn't seem like a meal I would love, but I'm so glad I did because it was delicious and very healthy! Another great post-baby dinner for me! And Derrick loved it too. He helped me peel and chop the potatoes and carrots which was great because peeling and chopping are not my favorite.

Not-Quite-Chef-Yet, A Cooking Blog: November 2014

http://www.notquitechefyet.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html

Not-Quite-Chef-Yet, A Cooking Blog. Sunday, November 9, 2014. It has been too long since my last blog post! My new job and morning sickness has kept me from cooking and posting like I used to, but hopefully I will get back on track! This creamy chicken chili recipe is from a coworker who made it for chili lunch day at work. I can't believe it is so easy. This will become a regular meal at our house this winter. 2 cans black beans, drained and rinsed. 1-2 cans corn, undrained. 1 package Ranch dressing mix.

Not-Quite-Chef-Yet, A Cooking Blog: Tropical Coconut Smoothie

http://www.notquitechefyet.blogspot.com/2015/03/tropical-coconut-smoothie.html

Not-Quite-Chef-Yet, A Cooking Blog. Monday, March 16, 2015. We are ready for lake season! Derrick found the recipe and made this smoothie last Saturday morning, and it made us feel like we should be laying on a beach! It would be great with some white rum in it! Also next time he is also going to add some frozen mango. This will definitely be made this summer at the lake! 1 1/2 cups coconut water. 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks. 2 medium bananas (frozen make the smoothie more icy). 2 cups orange juice.

Not-Quite-Chef-Yet, A Cooking Blog: Baby Food Bananas

http://www.notquitechefyet.blogspot.com/2015/07/baby-food-bananas.html

Not-Quite-Chef-Yet, A Cooking Blog. Friday, July 3, 2015. I used about 6 bananas which made 1 1/2 ice cube trays. I'm starting to think I'm filling these trays a little full since the serving size says 1 tablespoon. Oops! As you can see I have no clue what I'm doing with baby food yet since my baby hasn't started on it. 1/3 very ripe banana. Cut up bananas and sauté in butter until soft, about 2 minutes. Mash with a fork. You can add breast milk or formula if it is too thick. View my complete profile.

Friday, May 17, 2013. 30 Life Lessons at 30. 1 I like my parents. 2 Dogs are truly God's gift. Especially to a budding relationship! Raleigh has taught me a lot about responsibility, but she also brought John and I closer. She made us a family. She brings a lot of love into our days, makes us laugh, and keeps us playful. 3 I am not a fixer. When something is broken, I throw it away. When something is broken, John gets excited to fix it. Good life partner for me. 5 There are people who want you to fail.

Sunday, December 29, 2013. This year Christmas was really fun because Jackson understood who Santa was and was really excited about him. He talked about Santa all the time. Grandma Teach read him books about Santa and Christmas every night she was here. He even told me that he wanted to go see Santa and ask him for "a monster truck". Our neighbor had his sail boat parked in the street last weekend and Jackson was in heaven. He kept asking if he could touch the sailboat and the neighbor let him get up on it. He thought it was so cool. Jack posed like this without any prompting. This picture makes me laugh. The whole family out for a walk.

http://paigeandjohninkc.blogspot.com/2012/09/week-four-you-can-call-it-syndrome.html

Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Week four: you can call it a syndrome. My Nuero Opthamologist called me plump. My NEW doctor, that I had never met, called me plump. He called me plump in front of four medical students. Three attractive young men about my age, and one sweet, young Indian woman. She cupped my face romantically when she looked into my eyes. I thought she was going to run her fingers through my hair next.). They all wanted to look into my eyes. It is actually not a. Oh yeah - back to being fat.
