Their love of travel was passed on to me and so as an adult I have continued to travel and explore new places. Things To Do In London. Wowit's been three months since my last catch-up post! Over the past three months, I've been. Welcoming in spring all over London, and revelling in the blossoms of April and May. Cliché, yes, but it's been genuinely exciting for me this time because I haven't managed to fully enjoy spring for about six years! Old School lemon bars topped with raspberry ripple Italian meringue. If, like me, you are a fan of all things lemon-based, then you will LOVE this. My mum actually proclaimed it as the best thing I've made to date- big big words from her! Although she is my mum and therefore just slightly biased! It is, I must admit, lip-smackingly delicious. A crunchy, chewy shortbread base topped with a squidgy tangy set lemon filling and then adorned with pillowy Italian meringue and raspberry syrup. Zest of 4 lemons.
