As I mentioned earlier today on Martha Stewart Living radio, I LOVE me some Halloween (yes, including a few nibbles of candy corn here and there - see last year's post on. I also love pumpkin and generally have a mild obsession with it from September through November. Pumpkin's packed with good nutrients, antioxidants, fiber, vitamins A and C and for a mere 49 calories a cup, you can't really go wrong. 1 cup dried French lentils.

DIET is a four letter word.: In Season :: Ramps & A Warm Ramp Vinaigrette
http://nourish-nyc.blogspot.com/2011/04/in-season-ramps-warm-ramp-vinaigrette.html
Wednesday, April 20, 2011. In Season : Ramps and A Warm Ramp Vinaigrette. Paired with beef tartare, seriously unbelievable. Earlier this week, I chose a less traditional path for these little leafy onions and did up a warm ramp vinaigrette for simple spring lettuces. A lovely and light starter for my family's Passover meal, but it'll make any meal a bit more intriguing. Posted by Marissa Lippert. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. View from the second floor. A look out and over. Thursday, October 4, 2012. From three to four. Today's one of those dates. One of the dates I remember and reflect on. It's the day that three years ago I packed all, ok most, of my stuff - my furniture, my art, my cats, my three years of VOGUEs, my life - and moved to New York City. I chased my dream that day. And I like to think I've been chasing it ever since. Someone who had carried this. So I begin to think. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). New Yor...

Actually, she got all of us gals, but I like to think me in particular. That did it for me. Nora knew. She just knew. View from the second floor. A look out and over. Wednesday, April 29, 2015. One year and one week ago. Well, two weeks actually. That's when my world changed. I suppose I could say life - that's when my life changed. I'm not sure there are words fit to fully describe Gram. She was one-of-a-kind. And it only took meeting her once for most people to be sure of that. I knew it when I got old enough to understand what that expression truly meant. Soundtrack in a red sports car.
