http://lorenclark.blogspot.com/2009/03/power-of-women.html
Musings from a corner in Kaysville. Thursday, March 5, 2009. The power of Women. I received an e-mail recently that had an article. On the correlation between the safety/security of women and the relative peacefulness of the nations in which they live. I quote from the BYU news release. The researchers spent seven years building a new database. This research is available at http:/ womanstats.org. And boasts that is has "the most comprehensive compilation of information on the status of women in the world.

Musings from a corner in Kaysville. Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Ball Game, part 2 (extra innings). After a little feedback from friends and a Louisville Slugger to the head (courtesy of an anonymous comment on my 'flaky' analogy posted a few weeks ago. I thought I'd elaborate a little on the baseball/dating comparison:. 1 This analogy is probably more fitting to a baseball practice or baseball tryouts. Don't take it beyond the pitcher-batter idea. But the scriptural reference says it best. Thanks for all...

Musings from a corner in Kaysville. Monday, July 28, 2008. With gas prices at an all time high, I was surprised by a sign I saw while on my way home from a hike. I had stopped to pick up a few items at a shop when I spotted it:. About 12 miles south of my house- $0.00 per gallon! I couldn't believe it either and took the photo above to prove it. I'll have to go there more often! Here is a photo of the whole storefront:. Look closely at the photo. Yeah, it's a bike shop- Bountiful Bicycles. A vehicle driv...

Musings from a corner in Kaysville. Saturday, June 14, 2008. Family Reunion, June 2008: East Canyon Resort and Reservoir. I thought I'd share a few photos from our family reunion at East Canyon Resort held in early June. We had a bit of rain but had a lot of fun in between and during. I played shuffleboard for the first time- a pretty fun game! We had GREAT food (of course- I think I gained 5 lbs.) and we had a great time! Thanks to my Nate and Steph for planning a memorable event. Burn, baby, burn!

Hydrologic Considerations in Burro Wrangling: August 2008
http://cmsmemoe.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Hydrologic Considerations in Burro Wrangling. Sunday, August 3, 2008. I had a goal this summer to redo the landscaping in my back yard. My previous efforts to landscape my back yard over the last few years have been in vain. One problem was water…not enough or the incorrect amount of water was being delivered to the plants in my back yard. Another problem was weeds…the weeds had overtaken my back yard. Here are a couple of pictures of my yard from a couple of months ago:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Hydrologic Considerations in Burro Wrangling. Sunday, March 30, 2008. Visit to South Carolina. Today is fast Sunday in our stake since next week is the Church’s general conference.
