Our Glamorgan lambs roam freely around our fields for most of the year, scoffing the luscious Aberdare grass and occasionally chasing a bee. Their natural diet is supplemented by GM-free foods from Llandovery. We usually deliver on a Thursday so you have your lamb fresh for Sunday lunch. One boxful of lamb will fit on an average-sized upright freezer shelf. We have seasonal lamb available from December to April. Lamb is nearly back! To get on the list. Everything you see here, twice.

Blaengwawr Farm wouldn't be anywhere without our trusty pack of working dogs. Whether they're running down a hill to corral a lamb, running up a hill to retrieve a steer, or running round and round then falling over, Maddie, Cliff, Nell and Lass are indispensable members of our family. Maddie, Cliff and Nell (Lass is camera-shy). Unlike our lambs and steers, they're not for eating, though Maddie will happily give you a lick if you come to visit. We can deliver for free to South Wales in our little refrigerated van and use a courier service for elsewhere in Britain. (There's an extra charge for this.) Packing is slightly different depending on delivery. We leave the meat unbagged so you can bag it up as you or your family need. (We don't like to waste plastic if we can help it.) Rachel and Maddie looking for inspiration (Cliff is on the trail). We've been busy lambing and to be honest it's been tough for everyone. The weather since October has been mild but it feels like it hasn't stopped raining once. The skies finally cleared up around March and we started lambing early thanks to a ram jumping the fence and finding the girls!

Our own herd of Hereford steers lumber freely around the Blaengwawr pasture, scoffing the luscious Aberdare grass and occasionally gazing at a bee with withering contempt. Their natural diet is supplemented by a GM-free mix of cereals and legumes (which they love). Finished beef is 24 months old and hung for 21 days before delivery. We usually deliver on a Thursday so you have your beef fresh for Sunday lunch. One box of our prime beef cuts will fit on an average-sized upright freezer shelf.
