10  things to consider before visiting Ireland - Adventures Abroad

http://ohtheplaceskevwillgo.weebly.com/1/post/2014/04/before-visiting-ireland.html

10 things to consider before visiting Ireland. In my cybersleuthing I have found some advice when traveling to Ireland. May this be a reminder to me and help to anyone who finds it. It rains often in Ireland and it is mostly cloudy and windy. I found a joke that says 5 seconds of summer isn't a band but a forecast. This means bring a rain jacket, and expect some cold temperatures, even in June. I plan on bringing the inner layer of my snow jacket which is both warm and water resistant. Pack light. If...

Her work has been exhibited internationally in places such as New York, Ireland, London, France, and Germany. From Hawaii to Colorado to Ireland. A Series of Spectacular Events. I Solemnly Swear… - Adventures Abroad

http://ohtheplaceskevwillgo.weebly.com/1/post/2014/04/i-solemnly-swear.html

In getting ready for Ireland and London I've been doing some cybersleuthing for advice, rants, and stories from locals and travelers. What I found was some useful information, especially for Americans. So here is a list of things I solemnly swear to do and more importantly, not to do. Bull; To be conscious of how close my face is to yours when talking to you (in America we get pretty close). Bull; To be conscious of how loud I'm talking (even with my classmates, the whole street doesn't need to hear it).

Lonely Farmers 31.05.14 - Adventures Abroad

http://ohtheplaceskevwillgo.weebly.com/school-blog/lonely-farmers-310514

Lonely Farmers 31.05.14. Years of sacrifice and no children to pass your land to. Empty. Alone. A typical farming family would consist of a father in his late sixties, a mother at least twenty or more years younger. After the death of the elderly father, the mother was still a relatively young and wouldn’t like the idea of sharing the house with a new woman, her daughter in law. Many young widows were also in great demand by local bachelors and many of them did remarry. From Hawaii to Colorado to Ireland.

The Last Meeting (June 6) - Marie goes to ireland

http://mariegoestoireland.weebly.com/blog/the-last-meeting-june-6

Marie goes to ireland. The Last Meeting (June 6). We certainly have come a long way from Denver international Airport! Today was our last day, which we spent taking a last look around the town of dingle and working on our final papers, presentations, and voice-threads. It's certainly been an amazing trip, and I'm still having a hard time believing it's already been three weeks. Now, without further ado, I present to you the final presentations of the UHL Ireland in Context Class:. Peace murals in Derry.

Today is the Day!

Today is the Day! The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams! Friday, February 28, 2014. Well after 3 flights, 15 hours on planes, and 15 hours alone in Geneva, I finally made it home! And the best thing, I'm actually not that jet-lagged, which is pretty exciting :-). Oh and have to include a picture of my amazing breakfast in Geneva that cost me almost $20 - definitely struggled with the Swiss frank to dollars conversion! And you know.my cold/bronchitis is much better too!
