Feels Like Home: October 2013
http://elizabethherman.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Eric is officially on the move! Last night (10/28/13), he rolled all the way around. Unfortunately, all of this moving is disrupting his sleep. He rolls in his sleep, gets his arm or leg stuck in the slats of his crib, making it impossible to roll back over or move, then he screams. I go get him and get him back to sleep, and we repeat this process every couple of hours. And so is he. Here are some pictures to prove it:. Monday, October 21, 2013. Eric is doing so much better!

Sunday, March 2, 2014. Eric: 32 and 33 Weeks. Eric has made two big accomplishments in the past couple of weeks! Eric has also started sitting up by himself from a lying down position. He will be on his stomach one minute, and then he will roll himself up to a sitting position. He is still kind of leaned over, and never sits up straight, but he is definitely sitting. Eric is still working on his next set of teeth. I can see the outlines of his top teeth, but we can't really feel anything yet. Eric is suc...

Thursday, August 29, 2013. Eric - 6 Weeks. Eric had a busy week! First of all, he did a great job of taking a bottle. He looked at me like I was crazy for about 2 seconds, and then he started drinking. Sometimes I forget to give him a bottle or it doesn't work into our schedule, but he gets a bottle a few times a week, and he is doing a great job! On Sunday, August 25, Eric was baptized. Here are some pictures from the event:. Adriana's Marilyn Monroe impression. Father David Huemmer baptized Eric. Eric ...

Tuesday, July 12, 2016. Well, I'm going to try anyway. Marissa Suzanne Herman was born on November 15, 2015, and right away, she was the easiest baby EVER! She was so good at going with the flow. She slept well, and she was SO happy ALL THE TIME. Marissa's doctor even joked that she read the handbook about being the 3rd child, and she knew that she had to be a cooperative baby. As I did with Adriana and Eric, I began taking pictures of her each week. November 22, 2015 - 1 week old. And then something hap...

Saturday, May 10, 2014. Eric: Weeks 40, 41, and 42. On April 19, Eric was 40 weeks old. He got his 7th tooth on April 18. The poor kid was working on three teeth at the same time. At least he got them over with all at once. We enjoyed our first Easter Egg Drop on April 19. Eric, Adriana, Zeke, Connor, and Quentin had a great time! Eric's really looking forward to running and finding eggs with the rest of the kids next year. Elmo, can I talk to you for a minute? Eric Anthony is 9 Months (39 Weeks) Old!

Saturday, August 2, 2014. Happy First Birthday, Eric Anthony Herman! When you turned four months old, it was like you were a different kid. Suddenly you were happier. The doctor says it's because your digestive system was maturing and you were able to process food better. Whatever the reason, I was so happy! I gave you the straw cup, and before I could even squeeze it up into the straw, you started to suck on it. I couldn't believe you figured it out on your own! You adore your sister! You also love to p...

Tuesday, November 26, 2013. When I took Eric's 4-month picture, Adriana insisted that she needed a turn, too. She then rocked on the chair the entire time I tried to take pictures. Here they are though:. Since I just finished writing the 4-month post, there's not much new to say, but here are the pictures of Eric from this week:. Eric Anthony is Four Months Old (18 Weeks)! Here are the other things that Eric is able to do now:. Usually sleeps for 6 hours at night. Rolls over (and over and over) and back.
