Monday, September 29, 2014. Changing Seasons and Life. It is sure changing from late summer into Fall. Up here, the leaves. Are changing fast and furious. The wolly bears are just starting to come out and the weather has that smell in the air. The weather has been fantastic for here for the end of september, we had a high of 80 today. Wednesday, July 30, 2014. I am a Survivor! For those that do not know, on June 16, 2010 I suffered a "Stroke" on my left side,. It was awful, I was in Syracuse New York at the New York State Institute Stroke Center, excellent treatment, and physical therapy, I had a blood clot in my right ceratoid artery that broke free and lodged in my right side of the brain, It was horrible,. Friday, April 18, 2014. Flooding and Snow and Cold. Well, our weather has been interesting, we are in a State of Emergency. For our area, the mighty Black River, the Deer River, Grasse River and Oswegatchie aound here are above flood stage. Saturday, August 30, 2014. We took a trip up to the Adirondack Park, we went back into "Nicks Lake". A small lake, part of New York States Park System, no boats. With motors allowed, we wandered around the woods and enjoyed our day trip! We went into the Trail after signing the book with our names and date and time for our protection incase we got lost, fell, got hurt and did not come out later. Anna Mae scurried around like a rabbit leaving me behind. Anna Mae coming thru a blow down near the shore line.

Monday, March 12, 2018. Well, we have had 2 Nor' Easters storms, lots of snow, We have another storm coming in called "Skylar", Storm Watch from 8PM tonight till 10AM Monday! Maybe another 10 inches of SNOW? If the snow keeps up we will have a tunnel going outside! This is our sheltered side door! I went outside before the storm and grilled some Pork Steaks out back on the grill! Above is me outside just before the first storms hit our area, was nice out and this was in February!
