Although pure examples of a particular style are often difficult to find in Old Louisville, there are several predominant types of structures. Captures the romance of medieval buildings. Old Louisville's beautiful Belgravia Court

Belgravia is the most beautiful of Old Louisville's walking courts. Peacefully tucked away from most of the noises of the city, Victorian homes face each other across a green. At night, gas lights provide the illumination to take one back into another time. The homes were built in the 1890s after the demolition of the Southern Exposition buildings, and the area named after some of London's most fashionable districts. The serenity is broken briefly every year during the St. James Court Art Show.
