Tuesday, April 21, 2009. I recently discovered a road located in Canmer, Kentucky named after my ancestors, the Hedgepeths. Many of the Hedgepeth descendents still reside in Canmer, Kentucky (about 80 miles outside of Louiseville, Kentucky, and not far from Hardyville, where Rufus Hedgepeth was born). In fact, located on Hedgepeth Road is Hedgepeth Supply, still open for business. Below is a map and the link; follow the link to Hedgepeth Road to see a picture. It's rather scenic! I found Cora Bell!
