We have been spending a lot of time outside and also with family since Uncle Matt was home. He was here for almost 2 weeks and we enjoyed every minute we were able to spend with him! Monday, September 8, 2008. We have been so blessed by the addition of Kaia to our family. She is such a joy and loves to smile! She had her 4 month check up today and weighed 13 lbs and was 23 3/4 in. long. Kaia got to spend time with her cousin Brooklyn, who lives in Colorado. They are only a month apart. Kaia's tongue is constantly popping out of her mouth. As Benny put it, she would be good at the game of Frogger! Posted by Matt, Larissa, Carter and Kaia. Monday, March 26, 2007. Out for a ride. Carter went with Daddy on a 4-wheeler ride to Papa Tim's house. He is wearing Papa Tim's helmet from when he was a little boy. Carter loves the 4-wheeler! We knew when we bought our house there would be water in the backyard, but we didn't realize it would be this much! Finally, this past weekend all the water soaked into the ground. Monday, March 3, 2008. A couple weeks ago, Carter and I enjoyed the nice weather by sledding in the backyard. Daddy helping Carter get his snowmobile unstuck. Carter loves to read books to his stuffed animals and baby. It is interesting to hear the stories he makes up! Here is Carter before going to school. On this day it was "Crazy Hair Day". Monday, September 8, 2008. The Cabin and Mississippi Headwaters. Over Labor Day weekend, we went up to Matt's family's cabin up north. Matt was planning to go bear hunting, so we decided to tag along for a relaxing weekend. Before going to the cabin, we stopped at the Mississippi Headwaters, which is only 15 minutes away. Tuesday, August 21, 2007. After the Wiggles concert, we drove up to Taylor's Falls to stay with Matt's aunt and uncle for the weekend. Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Carter has managed to keep himself very busy while I have been tending to Kaia. Here he dressed up in his cowboy costume and sat alongside the road and played his guitar. If we lived on a busy street, I think people would have thrown money to him! Carter wanted to play with "Dad's tools", so he unscrewed all the screws from the light switches. Monday, November 5, 2007. Carter was Captain Feathersword for Halloween this year. Anyone wondering who Captain Feathersword is.you may have already guessed it.he is a character on The Wiggles! Carter really had a fun time dressing up. We stopped at our family's houses to trick-r-treat and then went to Bama's birthday party. Carter and Micah. He looked so cute dressed up as a lion!
