Sobota 25. ledna 2014. Lysacup: Mrazivá etapa z Visalají. Přes dvě stě běžců se vydalo na trasu dlouhou osm kilometrů s mírným převýšením 577 metrů, ze špičky pole nechyběl téměř nikdo a já s Hudym jsme se raději vyzbrojili i lyžařskými rukavicemi. Úterý 29. července 2014. Parádní běhání na Pitztalu. Konečně jsem se dostal v létě do Alp. Úplně mě uchvátily, nádherné velehory a nedotčená příroda. Adam se přihlásil na horský maraton Pitztal Trail Maniak. A já jsem se připojil jako doprovod k jeho taťkovi, takže pohodová pánská jízda. Ubytovali jsme se v parádním campu. S rybníčkem, spali v prověřeném obrovském stanu a s sebou si vzali všechny nezbytnosti včetně kraťas, tenisek a kol. A pláštěnek, protože v rakouských Alpách prý pořád jen prší.

Čtvrtek 29. srpna 2013. Pokempový výšlap na Lysou horu. Kdo věděl, že v Ostravě je profesionální devítijamkové hřiště na frisbee golf neboli disc golf? Těsně před koncem prázdnin jsme vyrazili do parku v Mariánských horách, házeli co to dalo a snažili se trefovat speciální koše. Par se však nikomu nepodařilo dodržet, asi musíme více trénovat. Neděle 27. července 2014. Dynafit Run Adventure Polsko, 3 etapový vítězný závod. Na tenhle parádní závod jsme se s Adamem těšili celé jaro. Tři horské etapy, tři dny závodění, tři parádní dny v polských Beskydech. Jaké byly moje očekávání? Do Polska odjíždíme den předem, ve čtvrtek večer a s sebou bereme i osobního maséra, fotografa a prostě nejlepší psychickou i fyzickou podporu Dana Bednáře. I also want to write about Audrey and Emily, for they have been a huge blessing in my life. They are both JV missionaries and for now live in Český Těšín. I only know them shortly but our friendship is deep and true, I know. We have been hanging out together since summer, I carved my first pumpkin with them, we cook, watch Elf, have fun, and share. They took me out to Poland for my birthday to TK MAXX, too. I also teach Audrey Czech. Well, here is a few pictures of our adventures! I love you ladies :).

So Thursday was my last day of seeing Emily pregnant. How sad and exciting at the same time! She and Nate leave for the States next week and will be coming back when the baby is two months. What I want to share here is what has been happening since I got back home from Ireland. She came to visit us in Saintfield two weeks before I was leaving, and Valerie took us to the North Coast and different places. It was tough for me (because I am selfish) but beautiful and so good for her and her sister-my aunt. Since then I started praying for her regularly and more specifically. I so longed for her to see a change in me when I come back home, a good change! Floor flat balcony. She was in shock.
