Wednesday, August 20, 2014. So, JL finally decided to use the bassinet we bought just before she was born. She never slept more than 30 minutes in the thing, but now, it's her favorite play space. It's soon going to some friends who are expecting a baby this winter, so JL will need to find a new spot to play. Just regular balloons, but they were a hit with the kids 10 and under. Papi and the boys enjoyed playing this game. JL learned a lot this weekend, including clapping and waving. Where we ended up.

Sunday, June 14, 2015. This is the 2nd year that we have gone camping with two other families we are friends with. The kids all get along, as do the adults, and we always have a great time. This year we had to miss the first night due to illness, but we joined in mid-morning on Saturday, and stayed until the rain came pouring down mid-morning on Sunday. 1 of several soccer games. JL with baby D and his brother R. JL was so happy to spend time entertaining baby D. JT and JMC hanging out with the H family.

Tuesday, June 30, 2015. The June fun continues with Father's Day! The kids and I enjoyed preparing things several days (and at least 1 gift nearly a month) in advance. Papi had to be at church early to run the sound system (7:15! So we set everything up after he left and before we headed over to meet him at church for 2nd service. Thursday, March 20, 2014. Last month I filled you in a bit on JL and our journey to combat reflux. Well, she has gained 2 pounds in the past 2 months! Highlights from the past month: she's eating more solid foods, began to army crawl, move to a seated position, crawl on hands and knees, pulled to standing, and got her 1st tooth. JA inroducing JL to "Julia" with JMC and "Rana Verde" helping. JL searching through her toy box. The kids got out the Weebles for JL to play with. She loved them! Can you help me?

Saturday, June 20, 2015. My baby is 2! JL turned 2 this week! I can't even believe it. She's potty training (and does pretty well when we're at home) and talking up a storm. She loves to read and be read to, and sings throughout the day. Her favorite drink is almond or coconut milk, and her favorite food is meat. Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Randomness from the past 2 weeks. JL has mastered climbing onto the sofa. See JT's legs protecting JL from falling off? After about half an hour, he kindly asked me. To come get her because his legs were getting tired. :). We began our mealworm project last week. So far, the kids are really enjoying it. This was the 1st day. JMC needed LOTS of help. :).
