It's a beautiful sun-shiny day in Melbourne, and apart from the fact I am at work today, it's a good day. I am looking forward to 2013, and ready to wave 2012 a fond good-bye! I just revisited my January 2nd post from this year. Knowing I made a pile of resolutions I did not meet, and as expected there are some elements of disappointment. He is a creative.

101 things about me. 101 Things about me. Thursday, 28 February 2013. The physical remnants of the past 13 years of my working life lie scattered on the kitchen table. The cutlery tray I used in my drawer to organise my stationery. A place for my pens to be divided from highlighters, paper clips, post-it pads and an emergency nail file. A pile of note pads and scrawled notes, reminders about procedures and things I had to do. Time for whatever reason. I emptied the box onto the kitchen table last night.

It's All About Light. Saturday, 15 May 2010. Melbourne from Brighton Pier. Some time ago I went down to Brighton pier and took this image of the yacht club marina with Melbourne in the distance. I love my pinhole camera and I'm getting better at using it. The 5x4 inch negatives are so full of detail and I'm amazed at what a box with a tiny hole in it can do. Marion and I organised an engagement party quite some time ago and somewhere along the line (fairly early on) we decided to visit the wedding registry first. This bit was kept as quiet as we could and we managed to get quite a few very surprised guests on the night! So, it's official, Marion and I are married.
