Almost exactly one month before we met, Tim moved Ellis, his youngest, out of his house and into the dorms for his freshman year at college. Tim was one month into experiencing the empty nest when I entered his life. He had successfully raised two amazing kids and definitely deserved to be proud and have some quiet time. Yesterday, two weeks after my birthday, it hit me that I was 26. I had to say it out loud to remind myself. Oh - -25 taught me so much. I mean- I am a completely different person .
