This site is to help other mom's who might be experiencing symptoms with their babies and to educate others out there with a struggle that is not widely known. Friday, May 30, 2008. I finally decided it was time for us to see a different pediatric GI doctor. And I am SO THANKFUL that I did. I knew God was blessing it when we got in only two weeks after calling (as usually new patients take 2-3 months to get in to be seen). He is so nice and GREAT with kids! Enter the prayer requests. Thus Enter The Ragweed. I found some Little Allergies Allergen Block. From the personal reviews, people are saying it works. I just put some on him. Don't want to try it again right now as I just put on the Allergen Blocker (and you have to reapply if the nose gets wet). Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

One Mother's Journey: September 2008

This site is to help other mom's who might be experiencing symptoms with their babies and to educate others out there with a struggle that is not widely known. Monday, September 8, 2008. Well, they have removed even more foods from JJ's diet. :(. I am a bit torn about this. On the one hand, it is more meat. Meat is acidic, and makes the body acidic which the esosinophils thrive on. BUT I also know that JJ needs PROTEIN! So I am going to try the grain and see how he does. It has been so wonderful! Sometim...

This site is to help other mom's who might be experiencing symptoms with their babies and to educate others out there with a struggle that is not widely known. Sunday, December 14, 2008. Seems that all I have been doing is research, research, RESEARCH! We have removed all allergens from JJ's room, including all stuffed animals. His pillow has that allergy thing on it and his sheets are washed more than ours! We are so thankful to my parents for buying us an IQ Air purifier! 63 Air Purifiers to Avoid.

The Smarshy Files: November 2006

http://smarshyboy.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html

My 5 year old daughter says some crazy-ass things. Some of them are listed here. Thursday, November 30, 2006. My Final Thoughts on Kids At Clinics. OK, so I'd like to add my final thoughts to this obviously heated and controversial topic, and then I'd like to never discuss it again. I've been wondering how best to express my points, and I've decided to just list them. It's not my responsibility to make you comfortable in the waiting room. It's my responsibility to make my wife comfortable, and to tak...

http://onlychildancestor.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html

Shinny Laboo and baby too! I just wanted to create this site to give vent to everything I feel the need to vent about. Lot of complaining about work and husband. Oh yeah, and I swear, ALOT! If you can't handle that then you best stop now. If can handle reading this would you please put your dot on my guest map? Come on, I know you wanna! And this is my writing, not to be stolen or "borrowed" without asking, thank you very much! If you were given this link in confidence I hope it stays that way. Once I go...

My 5 year old daughter says some crazy-ass things. Some of them are listed here. Friday, September 29, 2006. BBQ Rib Eating Contest And Other Cultural Events. I have decided that today I will be throwing my brother under the bus. Because he BUGS me. Ok Problem #1) There is such a thing as a BBQ Rib Eating contest. Problem #2) People are genuinely excited about it. Problem #3) It is considered a "cultural event". That visit did not go well. Because he's just sitting there, grinning. Why not? You called me...

one mother's edge

Writer. Mother. Co-Dependent. An inelegant mix. Here's where one mother writes herself out of the dark spots. Sunday, August 9, 2015. We debated. Was it lack of confidence or alternately, a tendency towards arrogance? Was it lack of contacts, or the inability to use the contacts we have? Was it simply our advanced age? Just by publishing a book under the Hermitage name, people might know that it was worthy. Reputation rather than promotion would guide our success. Such escapades are a relaxing plunge int...

One Mother's Heart to Another

One Mother's Heart to Another. Making sense of the madness- sharing thoughts with other mothers of addicts and their families. Thursday, December 24, 2009. This year the sparkle of the holidays had already dimmed for me. Caring full-time for a parent with Alzheimer’s disease can drain a person’s health, energy, enthusiasm . . . even life. Add to that a son in prison and not being able to be with my grandchildren at Christmas and I wanted to skip December altogether. Brian was there with me the evening th...

One Mother's Kitchen

Join me in my quest to turn away from P.C. eating habits and get back to the basics of whole, nutritional living. Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Sugar Free for One Week (so far.). Only been 1 week since Ash Wednesday. Seriously? I was feeling pretty good about my decision to let go of sugar when I noticed I'm not even halfway through my timeline! Yes, you heard me right. I decided that this year for Lent I was going to spend that time sugar-free. (Not to be confused with S plenda. Cream Eggs, Samoas.

One Mother's Life…. The Joys of Hair Brushing. February 8, 2011 @ 6:53 AM. 183; { Uncategorized. Kira, on the other hand, defies all logic and reason when it comes to her hair. She is an angel for everyone else, even Trent! I really need to get a hold on this hair situation though because each morning is becoming a civil war between us just to get her hair brushed. That, and I really hate to see my girl cry. Maybe I can tempt her with the blow dryer…. February 3, 2011 @ 10:51 AM. 183; { Uncategorized.

One Mother to Another | Postpartum Peer Support

One Mother to Another. The moment a woman gives birth and becomes a mother is truly an incredible, transformational experience. There is nothing that compares. But for many women bringing home their little bundle of joy isn’t so joyful. Physically recovering after labour and delivery, hormone changes, loss of identity, sleep deprivation, self-doubt, no sleep, breastfeeding like a dairy cow, no sleep, no sleepoh, did I mention the sleep thing? It means you’re not alone. 13 thoughts on “ Home. I just read ...
